Pumpkin von Polk is a stunning 10 month old German Shepherd. This sweetheart is a shepherd of a small size-- but is a big love. Pumpkin is a happy and confident girl. She walks great on the leash with a cute little bounce in her step and a lot of wag in her tail. Even when she walks next to a high-energy or high-strung dog, she just keeps on walking happily, paying them absolutely no mind. Pumpkin loves attention and enjoys cuddles from her favorite people and just about anyone willing to give them to her. Walking her past the nearby school, she gets so happy when kids come to the fence to say hello. In fact, on all her walks she seems eager to meet the whole world. Pumpkin is still a young pup but is eager to learn all she needs to know. She knows her sit and is very motived by treats or just enthusiastic praise. Pumpkin is also eager to learn from other dogs. She got an A+ in playgroup, playing with dogs that invited her to join in the fun and then coming back to her person for ear rubs. Pumpkin is the type of sweet dog that would do well in many homes, but what she’s really looking for is a home with people and perhaps another pup who will not only be a playmate, but a teacher as well.
